Hosein  Bashir

Hosein was able to speak at a good pace and made barely any grammatical errors in his answers. Furthermore, he used an array of words and expanded his answers well. He should try to use more phrasal verbs and improve his intonation to improve his English further.

Sodabeh Kazemi

Sodabeh showed a very good level of comprehension as she was able to understand all of her questions easily and always used a wide range of vocabulary which suited each question correctly, such as , ‘take a nap’. However, there was a reoccurring issue with the present simple form as she tended to use the auxiliary verb for the verb to ‘be’ before her main verb. So she ought to work on her grammar further.

Ameneh Dorali

Ameneh was a pleasant candidate who was able to comprehend all of her question easily. Furthermore, she was able to speak in full sentences using both the present and past simple verb forms correctly. She needs to work on her speaking pace as she often spoke quite slow with long pauses part way through her sentences.

Alireza Sedaght

Alireza had good pronunciation skills and attempted to answer all of his answers. Also, he could speak in the present simple tense well. Having said this, he often gave brief responses, so he needs to expand more. In addition, he needs to work on his past tense because he did not use past tense verb when referring to the past.

Alireza Haghani

Alireza used some excellent phrases and could speak in both the present and past tense well . Also, he used a wide range of vocabulary and gave full answers. However, he needs to work on using linker more as he would say ‘I like… I go…’ instead of joining them with linkers or sequencing words.

Mohamad Amir Tasmim ghatei

Mohamad had very good pronunciation skills as he used stress and intonation correctly. He also used comparative language well. He needs to expand his answers more because he often had to be prompted in order to get more information. Also, he should work on his verbs more because he tended to use ‘have’ instead of ‘are’

Mohsen Tafakori  

Mohsen used adverbs well and used the past tense well. He also spoke at a good pace and self-corrected automatically. He had a few grammar issues though, as he used ‘to’ after some verbs when he should not have, like ‘help to me’, and he used an incorrect preposition once or twice.

Mohamad Ali Baghbanbashi 

Mohamad was able to speak in simple sentences well and he was a competent speaker when using the present simple tense. Also, he tried to give fuller replies whenever possible, using a good range of language. However, he was not able to reproduce the past simple tense properly because he still used present simple verbs with past time expressions.

Narjes  Dehghan

Mahshid used comparative language well and used an array of words. Furthermore, she spoke in full sentences and was able to use various tenses in her answers. She did, however, use an auxiliary verb when using the present simple, as she said, ‘I’m play musical instrument’, as well as missing out articles from time to time.

Mahshid  Delpazir

Mahshid spoke in full simple sentences well and she spoke at a good pace with very good pronunciation skills. She needs to work on her word order slightly and her listening more because she often misheard some questions which resulted in an inappropriate answer being given.

 

Nemat  Sayadnia

Nemat gave a very detailed introduction and answers; he used an excellent range of lexical phrases, such as, ‘hang out’ or ‘in terms of’ and spoke in a variety of tenses easily. He had a couple of problems with word order as on a few occasions, he would put the time expression at the start and repeat it.

Benyamin  Beygi

Benyamin demonstrated excellent listening and comprehension skills as he was able to understand the majority of his questions well. Furthermore, he used appropriate language and tried to give full replies. However, he needs to work on his grammar more because he used incorrect prepositions and used ‘to’ after certain verbs in the past form, like ‘I went to shopping’.

Roholah  Roshannejad

Roholah demonstrated an excellent understand of the English language as she could speak in different tenses well and formed plural verbs and third person forms correctly. Having said this, she often had to be asked additional questions to gain further details, so she should work on expanding more.

Saber  Azariyon

Saber was a pleasant student who listened intently. Furthermore, he attempted to answer all of his questions, even though he may have misunderstood or misheard it. Also, he used a good amount of lexis. However, he needs to work on his pronunciation slightly because he pronounced ‘three’ as ‘tree’, and as mentioned previously, he misheard somequestions.

 

Maryam  Ghorbani

Maryam was able to name days of the week and the months of the years correctly. Also, she spoke at a good pace and had good pronunciation skills. She needs to work on her listening much more as she was not able to answer some of her questions due to her not being able to make out what was being asked. In addition, she tended to use ‘and’ and ‘and’ instead of varying her linkers, so she ought to use more synonym.

Mohamad Ahmadi

Mohamad spoke in full simple sentences and used a good range of vocabulary in his answers. Also, he was able to comprehend all of his questions relatively well. However, he needs to work on his pronunciation more as he would use a ‘ch’ sound instead of a ‘k’ like in ‘chemical’. In addition to this, he needs to work on the past simple tense more because he was unable to use past simple verbs in his sentences.

Mandana Abasi

Mandana had excellent pronunciation skills as he stress his words correctly. Furthermore, he spoke at a steady and natural pace and demonstrated good comprehension as he could answer all of his questions well. She does, however, need to work on expanding automatically because she had to be asked more questions to gain additional information. Also, she sometimes used ‘to’ incorrectly as she said, ‘I went to shopping’.

Faezeh    Jafari

Faezah was a polite speaker her spoke clearly and at a good pace. In addition, she used adverbs well and was able to use various time expressions correctly. Although she was able to comprehend the first half of her questions, she struggled with the last few, which resulted in them having to be rephrased on many occasions. Finally, she used present simple verbs rather than past simple ones.
