Maedeh Rahimi
Strengths
* Good listening skills
* Gave a detailed introduction
* Was able to use a range of structures like second conditional e.g. if it’s really big, we should go out of the house
* Spoke clearly and with excellent intonation and stress
* Use suitable and current example to support her answer like Salt the film
Areas to work on
* Work a little more on grammar, in particular third conditional as did not use the past perfect clause
* Made a couple of errors with prepositions like ‘use people for being better’ instead of ‘to be better’
* Would benefit from using idiomatical language to further develop her English speaking skills

* Gave a well detailed introduction and answers
* Used examples in her answers throughout
* Great vocabulary, especially for food and clothing
* Used correct verb patterns e.g. I try to eat…
* Was able to use some modal verbs accurately like ‘have to’

* Would benefit from using sequencers when talking about her morning routine
* Got confused with modals of obligation as said ‘they don’t have to wear tank tops and short skirts’ but needed to use ‘mustn’t’ instead

* Work on her vocabulary further as this would have allowed for more development in her answers
* Missed out a couple of main verbs in her sentences e.g. ‘I don’t free time’
* Although she used frequency adverbs, she kept saying ‘usual’ instead of ‘usually’ such as ‘I usual go to exercise’

* Used a wide range of vocabulary like ‘coach potato’
* Had excellent listening and comprehension skills as could answer with ease
* Was able to speak in both the present and past simple tense
* Gave extremely detailed responses continuously

* Made a couple of mistakes with word choice as said ‘I had car sick’ rather than ‘I was car sick’ or ‘I had car sickness’
* Would benefit from using more phrasal verbs and complex structures to improve his English speaking

* Gave a detailed introduction

* Need to work on expanding answers more as they were often very limited to only one sentence responses
* Demonstrated poor comprehension as towards the end of the interview he was not able to answer any of his questions and simply said ‘I don’t know’
* Needed to use more adverbs of frequency and sequencers to develop some sentences

* Wold benefit from expanding her answers more as when asked about her routine she missed out what time she gets up or what she has for breakfast
* Had to rephrase certain questions so could work on her comprehension further too
* Missed out the verb to be before adjectives

* Demonstrated good listening skills as did not need to have questions repeated

* Ought to work on ways of expanding his responses like improving his vocabulary knowledge as many sentences were quite short and less developed as they could have been
* Was unsure of casual clothes so had slightly weaker comprehension skills
* Missed out certain ‘to’ and the verb to be in some answers like ‘they want good looking’
